COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE
A Joint Resolution approving and disapproving
proposed permanent rule s of the State Department of
Education; and directing distribution.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 250.2 and 308 of T itle 75 of the
Oklahoma Statutes, the Oklahoma State Legislature reserves the right
to designate the method for rule promulgation, establish policy,
determine that a rule is not cons istent with legislative intent and
approve or disapprove any rule or portion thereof at any time .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REP RESENTATIVES
AND THE SENATE OF THE 2ND SESSION OF THE 59TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
SECTION 1. The Oklahoma State Legislature hereby approves all
proposed permanent rules of the State Department of Education filed
on or before March 1, 2024 , except for the following:
1. OAC 210:10-1-16.

SECTION 2. The Secretary of State is hereby directed to
distribute copies of this resolution to the Governor, the State
Department of Education, and the editor of "The Oklahoma Register ".
