| 73 | 73 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
| 74 | 74 | SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 74 O.S. 20 21, Section 9.2, is | |

| 76 | 76 | Section 9.2. In the event the United States of America becomes | |
| 77 | 77 | actually at formally declares war with any foreign power, or to | |
| 78 | 78 | cooperate with the National Defense Program, or if this state is | |
| 79 | 79 | actually invaded, the Governor may, if necessity demands, appoint | |
| 80 | 80 | committees as the need may a rise to deal with issues of defense | |
| 81 | 81 | problems affecting this state and may pay the expenses of same out | |
| 82 | 82 | of any contingency fund appropriated for the use of the Governor. | |
| 83 | 83 | SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023. | |
