3159 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

3360 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
3461 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1096 of Title 64, unless there
3562 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

3763 The Commissioners of the Land Office and the Office of
3864 Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) shall contract with the
3965 Department of Public Safety f or security and law enforcement

5099 Section 173. A. The Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority may
51100 contract with the Office of Management and Enterprise Services to
52101 maintain grounds and for housekeeping, maintenance and repair of
53102 properties under the jurisdiction of the Authority.

55103 B. The Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority and the Office of
56104 Management and Enterprise Services shall contract with the
57105 Department of Public Safety for security and law enforcement
58106 services in all facilities under the jurisdiction of the A uthority
59107 or Department within “State Capitol Park” the State Capitol Park in
60108 Oklahoma City and the J. Howard Edmondson Office Building, Robert S.
61109 Kerr Office Building and appurtenances thereto in Tulsa .

63110 C. The Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority s hall provide
64111 office and operations space for Office of Management and Enterprise
65112 Services’ Services functions.

69115 Services, by building or oth er improvement, as the Director of the

72118 construction, repair, maintenance, insurance and other operating

73146 expenses of buildings and improvements owned, used or occupied by or
74147 on behalf of the Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority, where the
75148 services are carried out by cont ract with the Authority.

77149 SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.

79150 SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
80151 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
81152 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
82153 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
