2655 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

2856 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1354, is
2957 amended to read as follows:

3158 Section 1354. There is hereby re-created, to continue until
3259 July 1, 2023 July 1, 2025, pursuant to the provisions of the
3360 Oklahoma Sunset Law, the S tate Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
3461 The Board shall administer the provisions of the Psychologists
3562 Licensing Act. The Board shall consist of seven (7) members
3663 appointed by the Governor. Five me mbers shall be psychologists from
3764 various areas in psy chology and two members shall be lay persons.

3993 psychologist, the Governor shall appoint a successor from a list of
4094 ten licensed psychologists which is provided by the Oklahoma State
4195 Psychological Association. Members shall serve for a term of four
4296 (4) years and until a successor is appointed and qualified. Before
4397 entering upon the duties of office, each member of the Board shall
4498 take the constitutional oath of office and file it with the
4599 Secretary of State.

49100 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.

51101 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
52102 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
53103 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
54104 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
