BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 193 of Title 12, unless there is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows: As soon as any civil case is at issue, the court shall schedule any conference it deems appropriate and enter a scheduling order which establishes to the extent feasible, the time: 1. To join other parties and to amend the pleadings; 2. To file and hear moti ons; 3. To complete discovery pursuant to Section 3226 of Title 12 of the Oklahoma Statutes; 4. For conferences before trial, a pretrial conference, and trial; 6. To file proposed findings of fact and co nclusions of law; and 7. To accomplish any other matters appropriate in the circumstances of the case. The scheduling order shall be entered as soon as feasible after the case is at issue. A schedule shall not be modified except upon written application by couns el and by leave of the judge assigned to the case upon a showing of good cause. SECTION 2.
