4577 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
4678 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
4779 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 193 of Title 12, unless there is
4880 created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
4981 As soon as any civil case is at issue, the court shall schedule
5082 any conference it deems appropriate and enter a scheduling order
5183 which establishes to the extent feasible, the time:
5284 1. To join other parties and to amend the pleadings;
5385 2. To file and hear moti ons;
5486 3. To complete discovery pursuant to Section 3226 of Title 12
5587 of the Oklahoma Statutes;
5688 4. To have a medical examination o f a party;
57-5. For conferences before trial, a pretrial conference, and
58-trial;
59-6. To file proposed findings of fact and co nclusions of law;

90146 The scheduling order shall be entered as soon as feasible after
91147 the case is at issue. A schedule shall not be modified except upon
92148 written application by couns el and by leave of the judge assigned to
93149 the case upon a showing of good cause.
94150 SECTION 2. This act shall be come effective November 1, 2024.
