4773 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAH OMA:
4874 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
4975 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 126 of Title 74, unless there is
5076 created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
5177 A. State agencies and public institutions listed in subsection
5278 B of this section shall pre pare a report that includes :
5379 1. Documented efforts and associated costs within the past ten
54-(10) years to eradicate harmful woody species;
55-2. An estimate of the amount of acreage owned by or under the
56-control of the state agency or public institution covered by harmful
57-woody species;
80+(10) years to eradicate invasive woody species ;
81+2. An estimate of the amount of acreage owned by the state
82+agency or public institution covered by invasive woody species ;
5883 3. A plan on future eradication efforts on the property of the
59-state agency or public institution of harmful woody species within
60-the next five (5) years;
61-4. The associated costs of the future eradication efforts; and
84+state agency or public institution of invasive woody species within
85+the next five (5) years; and
86+4. The associated costs of the future eradication efforts.

91138 B. State agencies and public institu tions required to prepare a
92139 report pursuant to subsection A of this s ection are as follows:
93140 1. The Commissioners of the Land Office;
94141 2. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry ;
95142 3. The Department of Corrections ;
96143 4. The Grand River Dam Authority ;
97144 5. The Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department;
98145 6. The Department of Transportation ;
99146 7. The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority;
100147 8. The Department of Wildlife Conservation ; and
101148 9. Any public universities or technical school s of this state.
102149 C. State agencies and public institutions required to prepare a
103150 report pursuant to this section shall transmit th e report
104151 electronically to the Governor, the P resident Pro Tempore of the
105152 Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives , and to the
106153 Office of Management and Enterprise Services by January 1, 2024.
107-D. As used in this section, “harmful woody species” is limited
108-to:
154+D. As used in section, “invasive woody species” includes:
109155 1. Juniperus virginiana or the easter n red cedar;
110156 2. Tamarix ramosissima or the salt cedar;
111-3. Juniperus scopulorum or the Rocky Mountain juniper;
112-4. Juniperus monosperma or oneseed juniper; and
157+3. Juniperus scopulorum or the Rocky Mountain junip er; and
158+4. Prosopis glandulosa or the honey mesquite.
159+SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
160+of the public peace, heal th or safety, an emergency is hereby

141-SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

143212 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
