78 | 78 | | SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 70 O.S. 2021, Section 6 -104, is |

150 | 150 | | year. Each school district shall provide for all teachers a minimum |

151 | 151 | | of three (3) days for personal business l eave, upon the request of |
---|
152 | 152 | | the teacher. Salary deductions for such leave shall not exceed t he |
---|
153 | 153 | | salary level for substitute teachers. Provided further, that these |
---|
154 | 154 | | terms for personal business leave shall not negate any l ocally |
---|
155 | 155 | | negotiated leave policies which exceed the minimum benefits stated |
---|
156 | 156 | | above. Each school district may provide not more than five (5) days |
---|
157 | 157 | | each year for emergency leave. Each school district will shall |
---|
158 | 158 | | determine the purposes for which emergency leave can be used. Those |
---|
159 | 159 | | days shall not be chargeable to sick leave and will shall be |

160 | 160 | | noncumulative. Unused sick leave shall be cumulative up to a total |
---|

295 | 295 | | C. Each school district shall grant a teacher leave for jury |

296 | 296 | | service or as a witness subpoenaed in a criminal, civil , or juvenile |

297 | 297 | | proceeding and shall pay the teacher during such service the full, |
---|
298 | 298 | | current contract salary. Provided , that the district may deduct any |
---|
299 | 299 | | compensation received for serving as a juror or witness from the |
---|
300 | 300 | | teacher’s salary during such service. |
---|
301 | 301 | | D. 1. A school district shall also provide for benefits for |
---|
302 | 302 | | personnel other than teachers. Benefits for support personn el |
---|
303 | 303 | | employees shall include provisions for pai d sick leave of at least |
---|
304 | 304 | | one (1) day per month of employment not to exceed the number of |
---|
305 | 305 | | hours per day for which they are regularly employed cumulative to a |
---|
306 | 306 | | total of sixty (60) days and cumulative sick leave sha ll be |
---|
307 | 307 | | transferable to another school district where the person is employ ed |
---|
