38	39		An Act relating to civil procedure; amendin g 12 O.S.
39	40		2021, Section 131, which relates to venue;

46	47		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
47	48		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 12 O.S. 2021, Section 131, is
48	49		amended to read as follows:
49	50		Section 131. Except as provided in Section 132 of this title or
50	51		Section 163 of Title 51 of the Oklahoma Statutes:
51	52		1. Actions for the following causes shall be brought in the
52	53		county in which the subject of the action is situated:
53	54		a. for the recovery of real property, or of any estate,
54	55		or interest therein, or the determination in any form
55	56		of any such right or interest,
56	57		b. for the partition of real property,
57	58		c. for the sale of real property under a mortgage, lien,
58	59		or other encumbrance or charge, and

88	90		2. For all damages to land, crops, or improvements thereon,
89	91		actions shall be brought in the count y where the damage occurs ; and
90		-	3. For disputes related to repairs or improvements made on re al
91		-	property or fixtures attached to real property, actions shall be
92		-	brought in the county where the real property is located .
93		-	SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
94		-	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergenc y is hereby
95		-	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
96		-	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
