70	70	available funds; directing the Authority to se ek

72	72	termination of metho dology; providing an effective

79	79	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
80	80	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 63 O.S. 2021, Section 5025, is
81	81	amended to read as follows:
82	82	Section 5025. A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority may
83	83	establish, with available funds, a reimbursement methodology that
84	84	will enhance the reimburseme nt for services provided to Medicaid
85	85	beneficiaries in emergency hospit als in rural areas of the state.
86	86	B. The Authority shall establish, with available funds, a
87	87	reimbursement methodology that will enhance the reimbursement for
88	88	maternity care provided to Medicaid beneficiary areas of the state
89	89	with low or no access to maternity care. The Authority shall seek

141	141	any federal approval necessary to establish the enhanced
142	142	reimbursement methodology. The enha nced reimbursement methodology
143	143	shall take effect upon federal approval and shall terminate three
144	144	(3) years after the date it takes effect.
145	145	SECTION 2. This act shall become effectiv e July 1, 2023.
146	146	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
147	147	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
148	148	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
149	149	be in full force from and afte r its passage and approval.
