66	66	amending 26 O.S. 2021, Section 13A -105, which relates
67	67	to declaration of candidac y; requiring certain
68	68	certified document to be submitted with certain
69	69	declarations of candi dacy; and providing an effective

75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF TH E STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2021, Sectio n 13A-105, is
77	77	amended to read as follows:
78	78	Section 13A-105. Candidates for member of the board of
79	79	education of every school di strict or technology center school
80	80	district shall file declarations of candidac y in the same place and
81	81	with the same officials as candidates for county office. The
82	82	declaration of candidacy to be signed by the candidate shall have an
83	83	attachment to be signe d by the candidate listing the requirements of
84	84	a candidate for election or reel ection to a school board as set
85	85	forth in Sections 13A-106 and 5-105a of this title and Sections 5 -
86	86	110, 5-110.1, and 5-113 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statu tes, a
87	87	document from the school district certifying that the address listed

139	139	on the candidacy is withi n the boundaries of the school district,
140	140	and the candidate shall swear or affirm that he or she is eligible
141	141	to run for the office or serve in the office if elected. Candidates
142	142	shall file on the first Monday in December through the following
143	143	Wednesday. For school districts and technology ce nter school
144	144	districts located in more than one county, filing may be either in
145	145	the county wherein supervision of the district is located or in the
146	146	county where the candida te resides.
147	147	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
