40	40	An Act relating to appropriations; making
41	41	appropriation to the State Department of Education;
42	42	stating amount and purpose; requiring promulgation of
43	43	rules; providing an effective date; and declaring an
44	44	emergency.

50	50	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
51	51	SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the State Department
52	52	of Education from any monies n ot otherwise appropriated from the
53	53	General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
54	54	ending June 30, 2026, the sum o f Twelve Million Dollars
55	55	($12,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to expand
56	56	the School Counselor Corps program. The State Department of
57	57	Education shall promulgate rules necessary to restore or expand the
58	58	School Counselor Corps program.
59	59	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
60	60	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessar y for the preservation
61	61	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
