41	41	addition of certain designation to driver license;
42	42	requiring proof of eligibility; requir ing interagency
43	43	coordination; allowing addition of designation at
44	44	certain times; requiring consultation on designation
45	45	design; requiring certain removal of designation;
46	46	authorizing the promulgation of rules; providing for
47	47	codification; and providing an eff ective date.

52	52	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
53	53	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
54	54	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6 -126 of Title 47, unless there
55	55	is created a duplication in num bering, reads as follows:
56	56	A. Any individual who holds a valid lifetime hunting and
57	57	fishing license issued by th is state may request the inclusion of a
58	58	"Lifetime Hunting and Fishing ", "Lifetime Hunting" or "Lifetime
59	59	Fishing" designation on their state dri ver license or state
60	60	identification card. Proof of eligibility shall include, but may
61	61	not be limited to, presentation of the original or digital
62	62	certificate of the lifetime license issued by the Department of
63	63	Wildlife Conservation. Service Oklahoma shall coordinate with the

90	90	Department to verify the validity of the applicant 's lifetime
91	91	hunting and fishing license.
92	92	B. An applicant may request the designation at the time of
93	93	driver license or state identification card issuance, renewal, or
94	94	replacement for no additional fee or an applicant can request a
95	95	replacement license at any time to add the designation for a fee of
96	96	Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) in accordance with Section 6 -114 of
97	97	Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes. The designation shall appear as
98	98	a symbol, text, or icon as determined by Service Oklahoma in
99	99	consultation with the Department.
100	100	C. Service Oklahoma shall remove the designation if the
101	101	lifetime hunting and fishing license is revoked or invalidated by
102	102	the Department.
103	103	D. Service Oklahoma is autho rized to promulgate any necessary
104	104	rules to implement this section, including c oordination with the
105	105	Department or updates to driver license design systems.
106	106	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
