43	43	resources; prohibiting the capture or storage of
44	44	carbon dioxide from the atmosphere; e stablishing
45	45	penalties for violations; providing for codification;

54	54	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
55	55	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
56	56	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2 -5-119 of Title 27A, unless
57	57	there is created a dupl ication in numbering, reads as follows:
58	58	No individual, corporation, organization, or government entity
59	59	shall construct, operate, or maintain facilities designed for the
60	60	capture or storage of carbon dioxide collected from the atmosphere
61	61	in this state. A violation of this section shall be considered an
62	62	endangerment to the citizens of this state and the violator shall be
63	63	subject to the penalties outlined in Section 2 -3-504 of Title 27A of
64	64	the Oklahoma Statutes.
