51	42		purposes; prohibiting display of certain flags on
52	43		state property; providing for codification; providing

59	50		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
60	51		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be co dified
61	52		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 13001 of Title 74, unless there
62	53		is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
63	54		A. As used in this section, "agency" means any agency, board,
64	55		commission, department, or other state government entity crea ted
65	56		pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Constitution or the
66	57		Oklahoma Statutes.
	58	+	B. No funds may be used by any agency to develop, organize,
	59	+	administer, engage in, promote, or endorse any activity, including
	60	+	any event, initiative, official communicat ion, social media post,
	61	+	educational program, or public campaign, that aims to promote or

96		-	any event, initiative, official communication, social media post,
97		-	educational program, or public campaign, that aims to promote or
98	88		recognize Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex
99	89		Pride Month or any event with a similar theme.
100		-	C. ~~Only flags pursuant to federal and state law may be~~
101		-	displayed by an agency on state property or grounds.
	90	+	C. No flag that represents sexual orientation or gen der
	91	+	identity may be displayed by an agency on state property or grounds.
102	92		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
103	93		SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
104	94		of the public peace, health o r safety, an emergency is hereby
105	95		declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
106	96		be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
