54 | 54 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE ST ATE OF OKLAHOMA: |

55 | 55 | | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified |

56 | 56 | | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 9-101 of Title 37A, unless there |

57 | 57 | | is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: |

58 | 58 | | A. There is hereby created the Task Force for the Study of |

59 | 59 | | Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws. |

60 | 60 | | B. The task force shall consist of thirteen (13) members who |

61 | 61 | | own a business that holds an Alcoholic Beverages Laws En forcement |
---|

103 | 103 | | force shall constitute a q uorum for purposes of any action taken by |

105 | 105 | | F. 1. The task force shall conduct a study of Oklahoma |

106 | 106 | | alcoholic beverage laws. The task force shall look at the |

107 | 107 | | feasibility of and make recommendations for the following : |

108 | 108 | | a. lowering fines and fe es set by statute and by the |
---|
109 | 109 | | Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission ; |
---|
110 | 110 | | b. reduce unnecessary state regulations in the alcoholic |
---|
111 | 111 | | beverage industry; |

148 | 148 | | of product; and |

149 | 149 | | f. allowing a holder of a license issued by the Alcoholic |

150 | 150 | | Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission to maintain and |

151 | 151 | | store records off license premises at a separate |
---|
152 | 152 | | location. |

153 | 153 | | 2. The task force shall produce a final report containing a |
---|
154 | 154 | | summary of its findings and recommendations with respect to such |
---|
155 | 155 | | issues. The final report, if approved by the task force, shall be |
---|
156 | 156 | | submitted to the Governor, the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of |
---|
157 | 157 | | Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma State |
---|
158 | 158 | | Senate not later than December 31, 20 25. |

159 | 159 | | G. Travel reimbursement shall be the responsibility of the |
---|

195 | 195 | | J. The task force shall cease to have any authority to tak e any |

196 | 196 | | official action after January 31, 2025, and shall be dissolved by |
---|
197 | 197 | | operation of law on January 1, 2026. |
