52 | 61 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
53 | 62 | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | |
54 | 63 | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 4019.1 of Title 69, unless there | |
55 | 64 | is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | |
56 | 65 | A. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation shall require a | |
57 | 66 | post-installation inspection for any storm pipe that does not pass a | |
58 | 67 | structural dead load test prior to installation. | |
59 | - | B. The post-installation inspection shall be co nducted by a | |
60 | - | qualified engineer or inspector approved by the Department to ensure | |
61 | - | compliance with industry standards, including, but not limited to: | |
62 | - | 1. Structural integrity under expected loads; | |

95 | 105 | Department’s standards. If a storm pipe fails the po st-installation | |
96 | 106 | inspection, the contractor shall take corrective action, wh ich may | |
97 | 107 | include removal and replacement, reinforcement, or other remediation | |
98 | 108 | as directed by the Department. | |
99 | 109 | D. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation shall promulgate | |
100 | 110 | rules necessary to implement and enforce the provisions of this | |
101 | 111 | section, including, b ut not limited to, specifications for | |
102 | 112 | inspections, testing protocols, and qualifications for inspectors. | |
103 | 113 | SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025 . | |
