40	40	An Act relating to county fairs; creating the County
41	41	Fair Modernization Act; requiring members of the
42	42	County Free Fair Association Bo ard of Directors must
43	43	meet attendance requirement; clarifying that members
44	44	who do not meet attendance requirement will cease to
45	45	hold office; permitting members to take recommended
46	46	training course; providing for noncodification;
47	47	providing for codification; and providing an
48	48	effective date.

54	54	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF TH E STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
55	55	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
56	56	codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
57	57	This act shall be known and may be cited as the "County Fair
58	58	Modernization Act".
59	59	SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
60	60	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 15 -97 of Title 2, unless there
61	61	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
62	62	Whenever a member of the County Free Fair Association Board of
63	63	Directors is absent from more than fifty percent (50%) of all
64	64	meetings of the Board, regular and special, held within any period

92	92	hold office, and that position shall be considered vacant.
93	93	SECTION 3. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
94	94	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 15 -98 of Title 2, unless there
95	95	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as fol lows:
96	96	Members of the County Free Fair Association Board may take a
97	97	recommended training course offered by Oklahoma State University 's
98	98	extension office, delivered online, to better serve in their elected
99	99	position.
100	100	SECTION 4. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
