48 | 53 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
49 | 54 | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | |
50 | 55 | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 11-203 of Title 70, unless there | |
51 | 56 | is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | |
52 | 57 | A. Human growth and development curriculum shall be taught in | |
53 | 58 | the public schools of this state. Human growth and development | |
54 | 59 | education shall include, but is not lim ited to: | |
55 | 60 | 1. Human biology related to pregnancy; | |
56 | 61 | 2. Human development inside of a womb; | |

96 | 102 | this section two (2) weeks prior to the date the curriculum is to be | |

98 | 104 | State Board of Education and retained by the school district. | |
99 | 105 | C. In order to graduate from a public high school accredited by | |
100 | 106 | the State Board of Education with a standard diploma, students in | |
101 | 107 | grades nine through twelve shall receive human growth and | |
102 | 108 | development instruction as described in subsection A of this section | |
103 | 109 | unless the student's parent or legal guardian did not complete an | |
104 | 110 | opt-in permission form as provided for in subsection B of this | |
105 | 111 | section or the student has an Individualized Education Program (IEP) | |
106 | 112 | for a significant cognitive disability. Such instruction shall be | |
