51	46		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
52	47		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
53	48		codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
54	49		This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Kay Floyd SANE
55	50		Act".
56	51		SECTION 2. AMENDATORY Section 2, Chapter 343, O.S.L.
57	52		2023 (19 O.S. Supp. 2024, Section 215.41), is amended to read as
58	53		follows:
59	54		Section 215.41. Subject to availability of funding, there There
60	55		is established until October 1, 2025, within the District Attorneys
61	56		Council under the direction of the Executive Coordinator of the
62	57		District Attorneys Council , the position of Sexual Assault Nurse
63	58		Examiner (SANE) Statewide Coordinator. The Statewide Coordinator

92	86		state, recruit and develop SANE professionals, create and expand
93	87		local Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner programs and Sexual Assault
94	88		Response Team programs throughout this state, and coordinate
95	89		payments from the Sexual Assault Examination Fund. The Sexual
96	90		Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Statewide Coordinator shall receive a
97	91		minimum annual salary of One Hundred Twenty -five Thousand Dollars
98	92		($125,000.00) and no more than One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars
99	93		($140,000.00), paid from monies appropriated to the District
100	94		Attorneys Council.
101	95		SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
