5252 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPL E OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5353 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new s ection of law to be codified
5454 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 404.4 of Title 10, unless there
5555 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5656 The Department of Human Services shall work with the State Fire
5757 Marshal to develop guidelines that allow family child care homes and
5858 large child care homes to operate under the fire protection
5959 requirements of the International Residential Code (IRC). Family
6060 child care homes and large child care homes shall not be denied a
6161 license to operate should they co mply with the requirements of the
6262 IRC. No agency, municipality, county, or other political
6363 subdivision of this state shall place stricter fire requirements
