53 | 50 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
54 | 51 | SECTION 1. AMENDATORY Section 1, Chapter 175, O.S.L. | |
55 | 52 | 2024 (64 O.S. Supp. 2024, Section 1097), is amended to read as | |
56 | 53 | follows: | |
57 | 54 | Section 1097. A. As used in this section, "unauthorized camp" | |
58 | 55 | means any tent, shelter, or bedding constructed or arranged for th e | |
59 | 56 | purpose of or in such a way to permit overnight use on a property | |
60 | 57 | not designated as a campsite. | |
61 | 58 | B. Persons may not use state -owned, county-owned, or municipal- | |
62 | 59 | owned lands for the purposes of establishing an unauthorized camp. | |
63 | 60 | C. Any person who violates the provisions of this section | |
64 | 61 | shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a | |
