5252 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5353 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be cod ified
5454 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1914 of Title 69, unless there
5555 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5656 A. The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority may only engage in
5757 advertising through the following means:
5858 1. Printed or electronic bill ing statements issued to users of
5959 the turnpike system.
6060 2. Websites and social media platforms owned, operated, or
6161 maintained by the Authority.

8989 a. on turnpike frontage owned or controlled by the
9090 Authority, or
9191 b. within a distance not to exceed one and one -half (1.5)
9292 miles from access roads, interchanges, or lead roads
9393 to a turnpike, provided the signage is installed in
9494 compliance with local zoning and state transportation
9595 laws.
9696 B. The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is prohibited f rom:
9797 1. Disseminating advertisements through mediums not specified
9898 in subsection A of this section, including, but not limited to
9999 television, radio, print newspapers, and third -party digital
100100 platforms; and
101101 2. Placing advertisements on signage or structur es located
102102 beyond the one-and-one-half-mile limit specified in subsection A of
103103 this section.
104104 C. This section shall not be construed to limit the Authority's
105105 ability to advertise for bids for construction -related projects.
106106 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
