53	50		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
54	51		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 22 O.S. 2021, Section 152, as last
55	52		amended by Section 1, Chapter 338, O.S.L. 2024 (22 O.S. Supp. 2024,
56	53		Section 152), is amended to read as follows:
57	54		Section 152. A. Prosecutions for the crimes of bribery,
58	55		embezzlement of public money, bonds, securities, assets or prope rty
59	56		of the state or any county, school district, municipality or other
60	57		subdivision thereof, or of any misappropriation of public money,
61	58		bonds, securities, assets or property of the state or any county,
62	59		school district, municipality or other subdivision the reof,
63	60		falsification of public records of the state or any county, school
64	61		district, municipality or other subdivision thereof, and conspiracy
	62	+	to defraud the State of Oklahoma or any county, school district,

92		-	to defraud the State of Oklahoma or any county, school district,
93	89		municipality or other subdivision thereof in any m anner or for any
94	90		purpose shall be commenced within seven (7) years after the
95	91		discovery of the crime; provided, however, prosecutions fo r the
96	92		crimes of embezzlement or misappropriation of public money, bonds,
97	93		securities, assets or property of any school dis trict, including
98	94		those relating to student activity funds, or the crime of
99	95		falsification of public records of any independent school district,
100	96		the crime of criminal conspiracy, the crime of embezzlement pursuant
101	97		to Sections 1451 through 1461 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes,
102	98		the crime of False Personation or Identity Theft pursuant to
103	99		Sections 1531 through 1533.3 of Title 21 of the Ok lahoma Statutes,
104	100		the financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult pursuant to
105	101		Sections 843.1, 843.3 and 843.4 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma
106	102		Statutes, or Medicaid fraud pursuant to Section 1005 of Title 56 of
107	103		the Oklahoma Statutes, shall be commenced within five (5) years
108	104		after the discovery of the crime.
109	105		B. Prosecutions for criminal violations of any state income tax
110	106		laws shall be commenced within five (5) years after the commission
111	107		of such violation.
112	108		C. 1. Prosecutions for sexual crimes against children,
113	109		specifically rape or forcible sodomy, sodomy, lewd or indecent
114	110		proposals or acts against children, involving minors in po rnography
115	111		pursuant to Section 886, 888, 1111, 1111.1, 1113, 1114, 1021.2,
	112	+	1021.3, 1040.12a or 1123 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, child

143		-	1021.3, 1040.12a or 1123 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, child
144	139		abuse pursuant to any offense prohibited by Section 843.5 of Title
145	140		21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, sexual abuse of a vulnerable adult
146	141		pursuant to Section 843.1 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes,
147	142		child trafficking pursuant to Section 866 of Title 21 of the
148	143		Oklahoma Statutes, and nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual
149	144		images pursuant to Section 1040.13b of Title 21, and failure to
150	145		report abuse or neglect pursuant to Section 1 -2-101 of Title 10A of
151	146		the Oklahoma Statutes shall be commenced by the forty -fifth birthday
152	147		of the alleged victim. Prosecutions for such crimes committed
153	148		against victims eighteen (18) years of age or older shall be
154	149		commenced within twenty (20) years after the discovery of the crime.
155	150		As used in this paragraph, "discovery" means the date that a
156	151		physical or sexually related crime involving a victim eighteen (18)
157	152		years of age or older is reporte d to a law enforcement agency. Any
158	153		offense for which the prosecution is not time -barred upon the
159	154		effective date of this act shall be retroactively subject to the
160	155		provisions of this subsection.
161	156		2. However, prosecutions for the crimes listed in paragraph 1
162	157		of this subsection may be commenced at any time after the commission
163	158		of the offense if:
164	159		a. physical evidence is collected and preserve d that is
165	160		capable of being tested to obtain a profile from
166	161		deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), and

194	188		b. probable cause as to the i dentity of the offender is
195	189		subsequently established through the use of a DNA
196	190		profile using evidence listed in subparagraph a of
197	191		this paragraph, or
198	192		c. the accused person has provided a confession or
199	193		admission related to the crime.
200	194		3. No prosecution under t his subsection shall be based upon the
201	195		memory of the victim that has been recovered through psychotherapy
202	196		unless there is some evidence independent of such repressed memory.
203	197		4. Any person who knowingly and willfully makes a false claim
204	198		pursuant to this subsection or a claim that the person knows lacks
205	199		factual foundation may be reported to local law enforcement for
206	200		criminal investigation and, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a
207	201		felony.
208	202		D. Prosecutions for criminal violations of any provision of the
209	203		Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Code shall be commenced within three
210	204		(3) years after the commission of such offense.
211	205		E. Prosecutions for the crime of criminal fraud or workers '
212	206		compensation fraud pursuant to Section 1541.1, 1541.2, 1662 or 1663
213	207		of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes shall commence within three (3)
214	208		years after the discovery of the crime, but in no event greater than
215	209		seven (7) years after the commission of the crime.
216	210		F. Prosecution for the crime of false or bogus check pursuant
217	211		to Section 1541.1, 1 541.2, 1541.3 or 1541.4 of Title 21 of the

245	238		Oklahoma Statutes shall be commenced within five (5) years after the
246	239		commission of such offe nse.
247	240		G. Prosecution for the crime of solicitation for murder in the
248	241		first degree pursuant to Section 701.16 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma
249	242		Statutes shall be commenced within seven (7) years after the
250	243		discovery of the crime. For purposes of this subsection,
251	244		"discovery" means the date upon which the crime is made known to
252	245		anyone other than a person involved in the solicitation.
253	246		H. In all other cases a prosecution for a public offense must
254	247		be commenced within three (3) years after its commission.
255	248		I. Prosecution for the crime of accessory after the fact must
256	249		be commenced within the same statute of limitations as that of the
257	250		felony for which the person acted as an accessory.
258	251		J. Prosecution for the crime of arson pursuant to Section 1401,
259	252		1402, 1403, 1404 or 1405 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes shall
260	253		be commenced within seven (7) years after the commission of the
261	254		crime.
262	255		K. Prosecutions for criminal violations in which a deadly
263	256		weapon is used to commit a felony or prosecutions for criminal
264	257		violations in which a deadly weapon is used in an attempt to commit
265	258		a felony shall be commenced within seven (7) years after the
266	259		commission of the crime.
267	260		L. Prosecutions for the crime of human trafficking pursuant to
268	261		Section 748 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes shall be commenced
