40	40	An Act relating to presidential rights; declaring,
41	41	enacting, and confirming that present and past
42	42	presidents of the United States are ve sted with
43	43	voting rights in the State of Oklahoma; granting
44	44	present and past presidents of the United States the
45	45	right to possess and carry firearms or weapons in the
46	46	State of Oklahoma; providing for codification; and
47	47	providing an effective date .

52	52	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
53	53	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
54	54	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2201 of Title 25, unless there
55	55	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows :
56	56	A. In recognition that President Donald J. Trump, as both the
57	57	45th and 47th President of the United States, has been wronged by
58	58	the actions of another state for political purposes to denigrate his
59	59	rights, we do hereby declare, enact, and confirm that,
60	60	notwithstanding any other provision of law, present or past
61	61	presidents of the United States, regardless of actions by other
62	62	states, are vested always with the right to register to vote and
63	63	cast a ballot in federal, state, county, or municipal elections in

90	90	the State of Oklahoma, pursuant to 4 -101 of Title 26 of the Oklahoma
91	91	Statutes.
92	92	B. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a president or
93	93	former president of the United States shall have the right to
94	94	possess any firearm or other weapon and the right to carry a
95	95	handgun, concealed or unconcealed, pursuant to the provisions of the
96	96	Oklahoma Self-Defense Act, or as otherwise permitted by law. In
97	97	addition, the person shall be immune from and not subject to
98	98	criminal prosecution for any alleged violation of sub section A of
99	99	Section 1283 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
100	100	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
