144 | 144 | | B. The Department of Public Safety shall provide administrative |

145 | 145 | | support necessary for the Committee to accomplish the goals and |

146 | 146 | | objectives assigned by this section. |

147 | 147 | | C. The Committee shall meet at the direction of the chair, and |
---|
148 | 148 | | shall meet not less than once a year, but not more than four times a |
---|
149 | 149 | | year. A vice chair shall be elected b y the Committee from among its |
---|
150 | 150 | | members. The vice chair shall act as chair of the Committee in the |
---|
151 | 151 | | absence of the chair. |
---|
152 | 152 | | D. The Committee is authorized to collect, analyze, and |
---|
153 | 153 | | interpret relevant crash data on impaired driving and associated |
---|
154 | 154 | | traffic crashes. In addition, the Committee is authorized to |
---|
155 | 155 | | review, evaluate, and monitor the impaired driving system of this |
---|
156 | 156 | | state and provide a network of communication and cooperation am ong |
---|
157 | 157 | | the various stakeholders to coordinate and integrate efforts and |
---|
158 | 158 | | resources to reduce the incidence and severity of impaired driving |
---|
159 | 159 | | crashes. |

160 | 160 | | E. The Committee shall annually complete a statewide strategic |
---|
161 | 161 | | plan to reduce the incidents of impaired drivin g and impaired |
---|

196 | 196 | | reimbursement for an y actual and necessary traveling expenses in |

197 | 197 | | accordance with the State Travel Reimbursement Act from the |
---|
198 | 198 | | employing agency. |
