5050 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5151 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 12 O.S. 2021, Section 2702,
5252 is amended to read as follows:
5353 Section 2702. If scientific, technical or other
5454 specialized knowledge will assist the trier of fact to
5555 understand the evidence or to determine a fact in issue, a
5656 witness qualified as an expert by knowledge, skill,
5757 experience, training , or education may testify in the form of
5858 an opinion or otherwise, if the proponent demonstrates to the
5959 court that it is more likely than not that :
6060 1. The testimony is based upon sufficient facts or data;
6161 2. The testimony is the product of reliable principles and
