5057 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5158 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY Section 1, Chapter 425, O.S.L.
5259 2024 (74 O.S. Supp. 2024, Section 2294.1), is amended to read as
5360 follows:
5461 Section 2294.1. There is hereby created in the State Treasury a
5562 revolving fund for the Oklahoma Historical Society, to be designated
5663 the "Oklahoma Museum of Popular Culture Supplemental Revolving
5764 Fund". The fund shall be a continuing fund, not subject to fiscal
5865 year limitations, and shall consist of all monies received by the
5966 Oklahoma Historical Society from appropriations of the Legislature
60-designated for deposi t in this fund. All monies accruing to the
61-credit of the fund are hereby appropriated and shall be budgeted and
62-expended to provide funding for repairs, planning, staging,

94+designated for deposit in this fund. All monies accruing to the
95+credit of the fund are hereby appropriated and shall be budgeted an d
96+expended to provide funding for repairs, planning, staging,
8997 refurbishments, and improvements to real and personal property, and
9098 funding for construction of the Oklahoma Museum of Popular Culture.
9199 No expenditures shall be made from the fund until the Sta te
92100 Treasurer determines that funds provided by local and county
93101 governments, the federal government, or through monetary donations
94102 or enforceable pledges for monetary donations in the amount of
95103 Eighteen Million Dollars ($18,000,000.00) are made for repairs ,
96104 planning, staging, refurbishments, and improvements to real and
97105 personal property, and funding for construction of the Oklahoma
98106 Museum of Popular Culture; provided, no funds collected or received
99-prior to May 25, 2023 May 25, 2021, shall be counted toward the
100-amount. Expenditure s from the fund shall be made upon warrants
101-issued by the State Treasurer against claims filed as prescribed by
102-law with the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise
103-Services for approval and payment. On November 15, 2025, if no
104-determination is made by the State Treasurer pursuant to the
105-provisions of this section authorizing expenditures from this fund,
106-all unencumbered funds remaining in the Oklahoma Museum of Popular
107-Culture Supplemental Revolving Fund shall be transferred to the
108-State Treasurer for deposit in the General Revenue Fund of the State
107+prior to May 25, 2023, shall be counted toward the amount.
