| 48 | 48 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
| 49 | 49 | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | |
| 50 | 50 | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 105 of Title 66, unless there is | |
| 51 | 51 | created a duplication in numbering, rea ds as follows: | |
| 52 | 52 | A. As used in this section: | |
| 53 | 53 | 1. "Branch line" means a secondar y line that branches off from | |
| 54 | 54 | a main line; and | |
| 55 | 55 | 2. "Main line" means a Class 1 railroad documented in current | |
| 56 | 56 | timetables filed as required pursuant to 49 C.F.R. 217.7 with the | |
| 57 | 57 | Federal Railroad Administration. A main line is used for regular | |
| 58 | 58 | scheduled freight or passenger service. | |
| 59 | 59 | B. Railroads are prohibited from operating any branch line or | |
| 60 | 60 | main line train that exceeds a length of eight thousand five hundred | |
| 61 | 61 | (8,500) feet. | |
