4040 An Act relating to professions and occupations;
4141 modifying the Oklahoma Administrative Code; modifying
4242 requirements for funeral establish ment vendor payment

5050 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5151 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5252 in the Oklahoma Statute s as Section 397 of Title 59, unless there is
5353 created a duplication in numberi ng, reads as follows:
5454 This section shall modify the Oklahoma Administrative Code
5555 Section 235:10-11-1 by the following provisions:
5656 1. Penalties for vendor payments may only be im posed after a
5757 formal court judgment ;
5858 2. Penalties may only be imposed on funeral establishments and
5959 may not be imposed against the Funeral Director in Charge ;
6060 3. These rules are only applicable to active funeral

9292 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
