61	105		WHEREAS, many Vietnames e families fled their homeland in search
62	106		of freedom, safety, and opportunity, enduring perilous journeys and
63	107		resettling in countries around the world, including the United

66	109		WHEREAS, the State of Oklahoma became home to a vibrant
67	110		Vietnamese American community that has enriched the state's
68	111		cultural, economic, and social landscape over the past five decades;

71	113		WHEREAS, the Vietnamese American community in Oklahoma,
72	114		particularly centered in the Asian District of Oklahoma City and
73	115		across the state, has demonstrated exceptional resilience, work
74	116		ethic, and civic commitment; and

76	117		WHEREAS, Vietnamese Americans in Oklahoma have made lasting
77	118		contributions as entrepreneurs, educators, medical professionals,
78	119		public servants, faith leaders, and community advoc ates; and
