66	66	O.S. 2021, Section 60.20, which relates to domestic
67	67	violence training; requiring spec ified amount of
68	68	annual training for certain judges; and providing an

75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 22 O.S. 2021, Section 60.20, is
77	77	amended to read as follo ws:
78	78	Section 60.20. The Administrative Office of the Courts shall
79	79	provide annual domestic violence, substance abuse, addiction and
80	80	mental health educational training for members of the judiciary.
81	81	Any judge who presides over domestic violence cases shall r eceive
82	82	eight (8) hours of continuing education as described in this section
83	83	per year. Subject to available funding, curriculum for training
84	84	required under this section shall include, but not be limited to:
85	85	1. Dynamics of domestic violence;
86	86	2. The impact of domestic violence on victims and their
87	87	children including trauma and the ne urobiology of trauma;

142	142	Violence Against Women Act of 1994;

144	144	7. Evidence-based practices regarding behavioral health and
145	145	treatment of those with substance abuse or mental health needs.
146	146	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
