7575 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7676 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 22 O.S. 2021, Section 60.20, is
7777 amended to read as follo ws:
7878 Section 60.20. The Administrative Office of the Courts shall
7979 provide annual domestic violence, substance abuse, addiction and
8080 mental health educational training for members of the judiciary.
8181 Any judge who presides over domestic violence cases shall r eceive
8282 eight (8) hours of continuing education as described in this section
8383 per year. Subject to available funding, curriculum for training
8484 required under this section shall include, but not be limited to:
8585 1. Dynamics of domestic violence;
8686 2. The impact of domestic violence on victims and their
8787 children including trauma and the ne urobiology of trauma;

141141 5. Victim protection orders and full faith and credit under the
142142 Violence Against Women Act of 1994;
143143 6. Rights of victims; and
144144 7. Evidence-based practices regarding behavioral health and
145145 treatment of those with substance abuse or mental health needs.
146146 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
