65	65	An Act relating to the Oklahoma Police Pension and
66	66	Retirement System; providing for benefits increase

73	73	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
74	74	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
75	75	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 50 -136.10 of Title 11, unless
76	76	there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
77	77	A. Except as provided in subsect ion B of this section, any
78	78	person receiving benefits from the Oklahoma Police Pension and
79	79	Retirement System as of June 30, 2025, and who continues to receive
80	80	benefits on or after the effective date of this act, shall receive a
81	81	five percent (5%) increase in benefits.
82	82	B. For any member of the System who joined prior to January 1,
83	83	1981, who shall have his or her pension increased or decreased by
84	84	one-third (1/3) of any increase or dec rease to the base salary of a
85	85	regular police officer, any increase in benefit s a person is
