160 | 232 | | act. A full term of office for purposes of determining term limits |
---|
161 | 233 | | provided in subsection C of this section shall be the co mpletion of |

259 | 379 | | power and duty to establish a continuing education training and |
---|
260 | 380 | | certification process for all residential and commercial building |
---|
261 | 381 | | construction industry personnel affected by the codes adopted by the |
---|
262 | 382 | | Commission including, but not limited to, code inspectors. The |
---|
263 | 383 | | Commission shall establish regional training for the purpose of |
---|
264 | 384 | | training the county and municipal inspectors in the Uniform Building |
---|
265 | 385 | | Code officials, design professionals, and trades workers . The |
---|
266 | 386 | | regional training shall be offered at no cost to the participant |
---|
267 | 387 | | state-licensed building code officials and shall be funded from the |
---|
268 | 388 | | funds received pursuant to Section 1000.25 of this title. A fee may |
---|
269 | 389 | | be assessed to all participants other than state -licensed building |
---|
270 | 390 | | code officials. When assessed, the fee shall be limited to any cost |
---|

309 | 453 | | be promulgated by rules of the Commission. The Commission may |
---|
310 | 454 | | establish forms and procedures to implement and administer the |
---|
311 | 455 | | provisions of this section. |
---|
312 | 456 | | E. The Commission shall establish a workforce development plan |
---|
313 | 457 | | for the purpose of increasing the number of available co de officials |
---|
314 | 458 | | in this state. The Commission shall promulgate rules on the |
---|
315 | 459 | | workforce development applications, qualifications, forms, and |
---|
316 | 460 | | procedures to implement and administer the provisions of this |
---|
317 | 461 | | section. |

357 | 525 | | Legislature pursuant to paragraphs 2 and 3 and 4 of this subsection. |

358 | 526 | | The Commission must follow the procedures required by Article I of |

359 | 527 | | the Administrative Procedures Act for adoption of rules in |
---|
360 | 528 | | establishing or amending any such schedule of fees; |
---|
361 | 529 | | 2. The Commission shall charge fees for building construction |
---|
362 | 530 | | permits and renewal of such permits issued by any state agency, |
---|
363 | 531 | | municipality, or other political subdivision of this state which |

364 | 532 | | authorized work governed by codes within the purview of the |

412 | 604 | | funds collected and the total number of fees imposed during the |
---|
413 | 605 | | preceding month. The report shall be made on computerized or manual |
---|
414 | 606 | | disposition reports as provided by rule of the Commission; |
---|
415 | 607 | | 5. 6. Any state agency, municipality or other political |
---|
416 | 608 | | subdivision collecting and remitting fees pursuant to this section |
---|
417 | 609 | | may levy a fee up to fifty cents ($0.50) for every construction |
---|
418 | 610 | | permit or renewal pe rmit issued. These monies shall be deposited |
---|
419 | 611 | | into an account for the sole use of the state agency, municipality |
---|
420 | 612 | | or other political subdivision. The state agency, municipality or |

459 | 675 | | shall be used solely for the purposes of the Oklahoma Uniform |

460 | 676 | | Building Code Commission Act; and |

461 | 677 | | 8. 9. Nothing in this act the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code |
