69	69	directing the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to seek
70	70	certain federal approval; providing an effective

77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OK LAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 63 O.S. 2021, Section 5025, is
79	79	amended to read as follows:
80	80	Section 5025. A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority may
81	81	establish, with available funds, a reimbursement methodology that
82	82	will enhance the reimbursement for services provided to Medicaid
83	83	beneficiaries in emergency hospitals in rural areas of the state.
84	84	B. The Authority shall establish, with available funds, a
85	85	reimbursement methodology for the state Medicaid program that
86	86	reimburses for obstet rical care at hospitals designated as Baby -
87	87	Friendly by Baby-Friendly USA at a rate equal to the product of the
88	88	standard reimbursement rate for obstetrical care at hospitals

141	141	Authority shall seek an y federal approval necessary to implement the
142	142	provisions of this subsection.
143	143	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
144	144	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
145	145	of the public peace, heal th or safety, an emergency is hereby
146	146	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
147	147	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
