7777 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OK LAHOMA:
7878 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 63 O.S. 2021, Section 5025, is
7979 amended to read as follows:
8080 Section 5025. A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority may
8181 establish, with available funds, a reimbursement methodology that
8282 will enhance the reimbursement for services provided to Medicaid
8383 beneficiaries in emergency hospitals in rural areas of the state.
8484 B. The Authority shall establish, with available funds, a
8585 reimbursement methodology for the state Medicaid program that
8686 reimburses for obstet rical care at hospitals designated as Baby -
8787 Friendly by Baby-Friendly USA at a rate equal to the product of the
8888 standard reimbursement rate for obstetrical care at hospitals

141141 Authority shall seek an y federal approval necessary to implement the
142142 provisions of this subsection.
143143 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
144144 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
145145 of the public peace, heal th or safety, an emergency is hereby
146146 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
147147 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
