83	83	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
84	84	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
85	85	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6 -615 of Title 2, unless there
86	86	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
87	87	A. There is hereby created the Feral Swine Er adication and
88	88	Control Grant Program. The purpose of the grant program shall be to
89	89	provide Oklahomans with education, equipment, and services
90	90	associated with the eradication and control of feral swine in
91	91	Oklahoma.

143	143	B. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry
144	144	shall, through collaboration with the Department of Wildlife
145	145	Conservation and the Oklahoma Conservation Commission , implement a
146	146	program or programs for the d istribution of resources to assist with
147	147	the capture or deterrence of feral swine populations affecting
148	148	Oklahoma landowners or land lessors.
149	149	C. The total maximum grant fund shall be no more than Five
150	150	Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00). The funds shall be derived
151	151	from legislative appropriations and other public and private sources
152	152	of monies including other grants and matching funds received by this
153	153	state from federal sources . The grants awarded through the Feral
154	154	Swine Eradication and Control Grant Program shall only be available
155	155	for the equipment, education , and services provide d to Oklahomans
156	156	for the eradication of feral swine .
157	157	D. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry,
158	158	or any employee or agent of the Department shall not be liable for
159	159	damages in any civil suit or subject to criminal prosecution for any
160	160	injury resulting from the program, unless the injury or death is a
161	161	direct result of the gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional
162	162	misconduct of the Department or any employee or agent of the
163	163	Department.
164	164	E. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, an d Forestry
165	165	shall promulgate the rules necessary for the implementation of this
166	166	program along with any educational material necessary for the proper

219	219	through this program as not to violate the provisions of subsection
220	220	D of this section. The Department may allow exemptions for
221	221	landowners and land lessors participating in this program from the
222	222	permits required to control nuisance and invasive species set for th
223	223	in Title 29 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
224	224	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
