77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 21 O.S. 20 21, Section 1836, is
79	79	amended to read as follows:
80	80	Section 1836. Any person, firm or officer, representative, or
81	81	agent of any firm or corporation, who shall execute and deliver, o r
82	82	who shall file for record or cause to be recorded in the office of
83	83	any county clerk of any county in this state, any deed or other
84	84	instrument in writing purporting to convey any right, title, or
85	85	interest, or right to possession in and to any real estate situated
86	86	in such county, to which the grantor, or grantors, therein did not
87	87	have and hold a bona fide color of title, and any such person who
88	88	shall file or cause to be filed for record in such office any such

140	140	deed or other instrument which clouds the title of any real estate
141	141	allotted to any member of one of the Five Civilized Tribes, or to
142	142	the Osage Tribe of Indians Nation, as a homestead, prior to the
143	143	removal of the restrictions thereon by operation of law, or
144	144	otherwise, knowing the land conveyed to be res tricted homestead
145	145	lands, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor , and, upon
146	146	conviction, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed One Hundred
147	147	Dollars ($100.00) Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) , and by
148	148	imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to excee d thirty
149	149	(30) days ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment .
150	150	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
