57	50		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
58	51		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1354, as
59	52		amended by Section 1, Chapter 66, O.S.L. 2023 (59 O.S. Supp. 2024,
60	53		Section 1354), is amended to read as follows:
61	54		Section 1354. There is hereby re -created, to continue until
62	55		July 1, 2025 July 1, 2028, pursuant to the provisions of the
63	56		Oklahoma Sunset Law, the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
64	57		The Board shall administer the provisions of the Psychologists
65	58		Licensing Act. The Board shall consist of seven (7) members
66	59		appointed by the Gove rnor. Five members shall be psychologists from
	60	+	various areas in psychology and two members shall be lay persons.
	61	+	At the expiration of the term of each Board member who is a
	62	+	psychologist, the Governor shall appoint a successor from a list of

94		-	various areas in psychology and two members shall be lay persons.
95		-	At the expiration of the term of eac h Board member who is a
96		-	psychologist, the Governor shall appoint a successor from a list of
97	89		ten licensed psychologists which is provided by the Oklahoma State
98	90		Psychological Association. Members shall serve for a term of four
99	91		(4) years and until a successor is appointed and qualified. Before
100	92		entering upon the duties of office, each member of the Board shall
101	93		take the constitutional oath of office and file it with the
102	94		Secretary of State.
103	95		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
104	96		SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
105	97		of the public peace, h ealth or safety, an emergency is hereby
106	98		declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
107	99		be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
