---|
106 | 152 | | use of the firearms or ammunition. The provisions of this |
---|
107 | 153 | | subsection shall not apply to claims pursuant to the Workers ’ |
---|
108 | 154 | | Compensation Act or a motor vehicle owned, leased, or rented by the |
---|
109 | 155 | | person or employee to conduct business for the business entity . |
---|
110 | 156 | | C. An individual may bring a civil action to enforce this |
---|
111 | 157 | | section. If a plaintiff prevails in a civil action related to the |
---|
112 | 158 | | personnel manual against a person, property owner, tenant, employer , |
---|
113 | 159 | | or business for a violation of this section, the court shall award |
---|
114 | 160 | | actual damages, enjoin further violations of this section, and award |
---|
115 | 161 | | court costs and attorney fees to the prevailing plain tiff. |
---|
116 | 162 | | D. As used in this section, “motor vehicle” means any |
---|
117 | 163 | | automobile, truck, minivan, sports utility vehicle, motorcycle, |
---|
118 | 164 | | motor scooter, and any other vehicle required to be registered under |

209 | 303 | | post signs on or about the property stating such prohibition. |

210 | 304 | | D. No person, property owner, tenant, employer, liquor store, |
---|
211 | 305 | | holder of an event permit, place of worship , or business entity |
---|
212 | 306 | | shall be permitted to establish an y policy or rule that has the |
---|
213 | 307 | | effect of prohibiting any person from carrying a concealed or |
---|
214 | 308 | | unconcealed firearm on property within the specific exclusion |
---|
215 | 309 | | provided for in paragraph 4 of subsection B of Section 1277 of this |
---|
216 | 310 | | title; provided that carrying a co ncealed or unconcealed firearm may |
---|
217 | 311 | | be prohibited in the following places: |

260 | 378 | | E. The otherwise lawful carrying of a concealed or unconcealed |
---|
261 | 379 | | firearm by a person on property that has signs prohibiting the |
---|
262 | 380 | | carrying of firearms shall subje ct the person to being denied |
---|
263 | 381 | | entrance onto the property or removed from the property. If the |
---|
264 | 382 | | person: |

265 | 383 | | 1. Has been informed by the property owner, business entity , or |
---|
266 | 384 | | manager of the business that the person is in violation of a policy |
---|
