77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1 -712.1 of Title 63, unless
80	80	there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
81	81	A hospital, medical facility, or long -term care facility
82	82	licensed by the State Department of Health shall publish on its
83	83	website, and keep updated, all policies and procedures of the
84	84	hospital, medical facility, or long -term care facility. The State
85	85	Commissioner of Health shall promulgate rules to implement this
86	86	section.

138	138	SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be co dified
139	139	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1 -712.2 of Title 63, unless
140	140	there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
141	141	A. A hospital, medical facility, or long -term care facility
142	142	licensed by the State Department of Health shall establish policies
143	143	and procedures necessary to track and document all additions,
144	144	deletions, and other edits to a patient ’s medical records.
145	145	B. Any person shall have the right to obtain, upo n request,
146	146	detailed information of all additions, deletions, and other edits t o
147	147	his or her medical records made by a hospital, medical facility, or
148	148	long-term care facility, or those of:
149	149	1. A minor child of whom the person is the parent or legal
150	150	guardian; or
151	151	2. Any other patient who lacks capacity to make medical
152	152	decisions and for whom the person has legal authority to make such
153	153	decisions and would have legal access to the patient ’s medical
154	154	records.
155	155	SECTION 3. This act shall become effecti ve November 1, 2025.
