75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2021, Section 2 -121, is
77	77	amended to read as follows:
78	78	Section 2-121. A. It shall be the mandatory duty of the county
79	79	commissioners of each county to furnish, at county expense, in each
80	80	county seat a suitable office for the county election board. The
81	81	office shall provide adequate space for storage of election re cords
82	82	and supplies, voting devices, ballot boxes , and adequate space for
83	83	the exercise of other functions required by law of the county
84	84	election board and shall be equipped with suitable furniture , and
85	85	office equipment, and a telephone. The office shall be convenient
86	86	to the public, shall have furniture, furnishings and fixtures , and

139	139	county, and necessary to the operation of the office.
140	140	B. 1. The county commissioners of each county shall, at cou nty
141	141	expense, implement security measures at the county election board
142	142	that are equivalent to security measures the county provides to its
143	143	other county agencies, in order to ensure the county election board
144	144	office is adequately protected from physical intru sions or attacks
145	145	and to provide cybersecurity for county -owned computer system s
146	146	operated by the county election board.
147	147	2. County officials shall immediately notify the Secretary of
148	148	the State Election Board upon learning of an attempted or successful
149	149	physical or cyber attack or intrusion committed against the county
150	150	election board.
151	151	C. To ensure the security of election records, equipment,
152	152	computers, software, ballots, supplies , and other materials
153	153	necessary to conduct elections:
154	154	1. The county election boa rd shall not share storage space
155	155	where ballots, voter registration records , or election equipment are
156	156	stored with any other county agency unless authorized by the
157	157	Secretary of the State Election Board; and
158	158	2. No county personnel other than those employed by the county
159	159	election board shall be assigned workspace within the physical
160	160	offices that are assigned to the county election board ; and

212	212	3. The county election board shall provide sufficient training,
213	213	approved by the Secretary of the State Election Board, to the county
214	214	sheriff and law enforcement officers of the county in order to
215	215	secure the election process pursuant to state law as well as secure
216	216	ballots pursuant to subsection C of Section 14 -115.4 of this title.
217	217	Provided, nothing in this subsection shall prohibit the county
218	218	election board office from being located within the county
219	219	courthouse or another county -owned building shared by multiple
220	220	county agencies, nor shall it restrict the county election board
221	221	from utilizing common areas intended for use by multiple county
222	222	agencies other than as specifically prohibited in this subsect ion.
223	223	D. The Secretary of the State Election Board shall have the
224	224	authority to enforce the requirements of, and may promulgate
225	225	administrative rules to implement the provisions of , this section.
226	226	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
