45	38		An Act relating to civil procedure; amending 12 O.S.
46	39		2021, Section 131, which relates to venue;

53	46		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
54	47		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 12 O.S. 2021, Section 131, is
55	48		amended to read as follows:
56	49		Section 131. Except as provided in Section 132 of this title or
57	50		Section 163 of Title 51 of the Oklahoma Statutes:
58	51		1. Actions for the following causes shall be brought in the
59	52		county in which the subject of the action is situated :
60	53		a. for the recovery of real property, or of any estate,
61	54		or interest therein, or the determinat ion in any form
62	55		of any such right or interest,
63	56		b. for the partition of real property,
	57	+	c. for the sale of real property under a mortgage, lien,
	58	+	or other encumbrance or charge, and

91		-	c. for the sale of real property under a mortgage, lien,
92		-	or other encumbrance or charge, and
93	85		d. to quiet title, to establish a trust in, remove a
94	86		cloud on, set aside a co nveyance of, or to enforce or
95	87		set aside an agreement to convey real property; and
96	88		2. For all damages to land, crops, or improvements thereon,
97	89		actions shall be brought in the county where the damage occurs ; and
98	90		3. For disputes related to repairs or improv ements made on real
99	91		property or fixtures attached to real property, actions shall be
100	92		brought in the county where the real property is located .
101	93		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
