65	65	An Act relating to industrial energy usage; requiring
66	66	certain energy consumers to submit certain efficiency
67	67	plan; directing publication of plan; providing for
68	68	codification; and providing an effective date .

73	73	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
74	74	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
75	75	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 803 of Title 17, unless there is
76	76	created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows :
77	77	A. Any industry operating in this state with an average energy
78	78	usage of electricity in excess of seventy -five (75) kilowatt-hours
79	79	per square foot per year or seventy thousand (70,000) British
80	80	thermal units per square foot per year for the immediately preceding
81	81	calendar year shall provide an efficiency plan every twenty-four
82	82	(24) months to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce that:
83	83	1. Proposes strategies and investments in techn ology that
84	84	maximize efficient use of energy ; and
85	85	2. Develops energy productio n methods to offset energy usage
86	86	not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of energy used on an annual basis.
