5548 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5649 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY Section 1, Chapter 265, O.S.L.
5750 2024 (47 O.S. Supp. 2024, Section 6 -212.7), is amended to read as
5851 follows:
5952 Section 6-212.7. A. There is hereby created the Impaired
6053 Driving Prevention Advisory Committee. The Committee shall be
6154 comprised of:
6255 1. The Commissioner of Public Safety, or a designee, who shall
6356 act as the Chair chair;
6457 2. The Chief of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, or a designee;
6558 3. A member appointed by the District Attorneys Council;

144-16. The State Commis sioner of Health, or a designee;

147138 18. The Executive Director of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana
148139 Authority, or a designee;
149140 19. The Executive Director of the State Board of Pharm acy, or a

151142 20. The Executive Director of the Alcoholic Beverage Laws
152143 Enforcement Commission, or a designee;
153144 21. The Executive Director of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority,

155146 22. The Executive Director of the Oklahoma Indigent De fense

157148 B. The Department of Public Safety shall provide administrative
158149 support necessary for the Committee to accomplish the goals and
159150 objectives assigned by this section.
160151 C. The Committee shall meet at the direction of the chair, a nd
161152 shall meet not less than once a year, but not more than four times a
162153 year. A vice chair shall be elected by the Committee from among its
163154 members. The vice chair shall act as chair of the Committee in the
164155 absence of the chair.
165156 D. The Committee is auth orized to collect, analyze, and
166157 interpret relevant crash data on impaired driving and associated
167158 traffic crashes. In addition, the Committee is authorized to
159+review, evaluate, and monitor the impaired driving system of this

195-review, evaluate, and monitor the impaired driving system of this
196186 state and provide a network of communication and cooperation among
197187 the various stakeholders to coordinate and integrate efforts and
198188 resources to reduce the incidence and severity of impaired driving
199189 crashes.
200190 E. The Committee shall annually complete a statewide strategic
201191 plan to reduce the incidents of impaired driving and impaired
202192 driving crashes. The plan shall be submitted no later than December
203193 31 of each year to the Governor, the President Pro Tempore of the
204194 Oklahoma State Senate, and the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of
205195 Representatives.
206196 F. Members of the Committee who are otherwise employed by a
207197 state agency or political subdivision shall serve without additional
208198 compensation. Members of the Committee who are otherwise employed
209199 by a state agency or political subdivision shall be entitled to
210200 reimbursement for any actual and necessary traveling expenses in
211201 accordance with the State Travel Reimbursement Act from the
212202 employing agency.
213203 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
