7777 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7878 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7979 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 905 of Title 40, unless there is
8080 created a duplication in numberi ng, reads as follows:
8181 A. The Oklahoma Workforce Commission shall develop workforce
8282 and industry training for the use of teachers and administrators
8383 across the state no later than August 1, 2026, and each year
8484 thereafter. The purpose of the training shall be to improve the
8585 knowledge of teachers and administrators on the conditions of
8686 Oklahoma’s workforce and to ensure that the students of the state
8787 are fully prepared to access career pathways upon graduation.

139139 1. The training shall include instruction over the key
140140 industries of Oklahoma as determined by the Oklahoma Workforce
141141 Commission, as well as workforce shortages in those industries. The
142142 training shall be updated annually to reflect changes in Oklahoma ’s
143143 key industries and the workforce demand of thos e industries no later
144144 than August 1, 2027.
145145 2. The training shall be no more than one (1) hour in duration
146146 and shall be accessible in an online video format compatible with
147147 the State Department of Education online professional learning
148148 platform.
149149 B. All teachers pursuant to Section 1-116 of Title 70 of the
150150 Oklahoma Statutes or any subsequent statute shall be required to
151151 watch the training on an annual basis, starting no later than May 1,
152152 2027.
153153 C. The State Department of Education shall be responsible for
154154 annually posting the training on its online professional learning
155155 platform no later than October 30, 2026 , and each year thereafter .
156156 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
157157 SECTION 3. It being immediately n ecessary for the preservation
158158 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
159159 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
160160 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
