77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 905 of Title 40, unless there is
80	80	created a duplication in numberi ng, reads as follows:
81	81	A. The Oklahoma Workforce Commission shall develop workforce
82	82	and industry training for the use of teachers and administrators
83	83	across the state no later than August 1, 2026, and each year
84	84	thereafter. The purpose of the training shall be to improve the
85	85	knowledge of teachers and administrators on the conditions of
86	86	Oklahoma’s workforce and to ensure that the students of the state
87	87	are fully prepared to access career pathways upon graduation.

139	139	1. The training shall include instruction over the key
140	140	industries of Oklahoma as determined by the Oklahoma Workforce
141	141	Commission, as well as workforce shortages in those industries. The
142	142	training shall be updated annually to reflect changes in Oklahoma ’s
143	143	key industries and the workforce demand of thos e industries no later
144	144	than August 1, 2027.
145	145	2. The training shall be no more than one (1) hour in duration
146	146	and shall be accessible in an online video format compatible with
147	147	the State Department of Education online professional learning
148	148	platform.
149	149	B. All teachers pursuant to Section 1-116 of Title 70 of the
150	150	Oklahoma Statutes or any subsequent statute shall be required to
151	151	watch the training on an annual basis, starting no later than May 1,
152	152	2027.
153	153	C. The State Department of Education shall be responsible for
154	154	annually posting the training on its online professional learning
155	155	platform no later than October 30, 2026 , and each year thereafter .
156	156	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
157	157	SECTION 3. It being immediately n ecessary for the preservation
158	158	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
159	159	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
160	160	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
