39	65		An Act relating to flag-related offenses; defining
40	66		terms; creating felony offense; providing for
41	67		penalties; providing for codification; and providing
42	68		an effective date.

47	73		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
48	74		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
49	75		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 376 of Title 21, unless there is
50	76		created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
51	77		A. As used in this section, t he terms “flag”, “standard”,
52	78		“colors”, or “ensign” of the United States shall have the same
53	79		meaning as used in subsection C of Section 372 of Title 21 of the
54	80		Oklahoma Statutes.
55	81		B. Any person who takes down or removes the flag, standard,
56	82		colors, or ensign of the United States of America on public property
57	83		or private property owned by another person or entity without
58	84		permission and puts up the flag, standard, colors, or ensign of any
59	85		other entity shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a felony
60	86		punishable by a fine n ot to exceed Three Thousand Dollars
61		-	($3,000.00), imprisonment in the custody of the Department of
