77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codifie d
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3 -161.1 of Title 70, unless
80	80	there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
81	81	A. Before annual enrollment of a student in a pu blic school
82	82	district, the school shall provide information to the parent or
83	83	guardian who is enrolling the student concerning all the education
84	84	options available to students within this state, including:
85	85	1. The education options under the Education Open Transfer Act,
86	86	including:
87	87	a. the ability for Oklahoma students to transfer from
88	88	school districts other than their resident school

148	148	Parental Choice Tax Credit Act , including:
149	149	a. the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit for other
150	150	means of education pursuant to Sections 10 -105 and 28-
151	151	101 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes , and
152	152	b. the Oklahoma School Choice Tax Credit for private
153	153	school tuition and fees pursuant to Sectio n 28-101 of
154	154	Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes ;
155	155	3. The education opportunities available under the Oklahoma
156	156	Charter Schools Act, including:
157	157	a. the availability of statewide virtual charter school
158	158	enrollment within the state , and
159	159	b. the existence of physica l charter schools within the
160	160	school district and all directly adjacent school
161	161	district boundaries; and

213	213	4. The education opportunities available under the Lindsey
214	214	Nicole Henry Scholarship for Students with Disabilities Program
215	215	pursuant to Section 13 -101.2 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes .
216	216	B. This information shall be posted on the school district
217	217	website throughout the year, updated yearly as new education options
218	218	arise, and be readily available in school office premises for
219	219	distribution to parents inq uiring about their education options.
220	220	C. The State Department of Education sh all develop a document
221	221	including all information required by this section that applies to
222	222	all public school students within the state for the dissemination of
223	223	information required by this section and shall make it available to
224	224	school districts through its website or other means necessary.
225	225	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
226	226	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the p reservation
227	227	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
228	228	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
229	229	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
