67	67	light, heat, or power by elect ricity or gas;
68	68	prohibiting use of eminent domain for certain energy
69	69	projects and facilities; and declaring an emergency.

75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 27 O.S. 2021, Sectio n 7, is
77	77	amended to read as follows:
78	78	Section 7. A. Except as otherwise provid ed in this section,
79	79	any person, firm, or corporation organized under the laws of this
80	80	state, or authorized to do business in this state , to furnish light,
81	81	heat, or power by electricity or natural gas, or any other person,
82	82	association, or firm engaged in furnishing lights, heat , or power by
83	83	electricity or natural gas shall have and exercise the right of
84	84	eminent domain in the same manner and by like proceedings as
85	85	provided for railroad corporations by laws of this state.
86	86	B. The power of eminent domain shall not be used for the siting
87	87	or building of wind turbines energy facilities, solar energy

141	141	SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
142	142	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
143	143	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
144	144	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
