77	77	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
78	78	1ST SESSION OF THE 60TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
79	79	SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer to the people for
80	80	their approval or rejection, as and in the manner provided by law,
81	81	the following proposed amendment to Section 26 of Article II of the
82	82	Oklahoma Constitution to read as follows:
83	83	Section 26. The right of a citizen A well-regulated militia,
84	84	being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the
85	85	people to keep and bear arms in defense of his home, person, or
86	86	property, or in aid of the civil power, when thereunto legally
87	87	summoned, shall never not be prohibited; but nothing herein

146	146	THE GIST OF THE PROPOSITION IS AS FOLLOWS:
147	147	This measure would amend Section 2 6 of Article 2 of the Oklahoma
148	148	Constitution. This measure would provide that a well-regulated
149	149	militia and the right of a citizen to keep and bear arms are
150	150	necessary to the security of this state .
151	151	SHALL THE PROPOSAL BE APPROVED?

154	154	SECTION 3. The President Pro Tempore of the Senate shall,
155	155	immediately after the passage of this resolution, prepare and file
156	156	one copy thereof, including the Ballot Title set forth in SECTI ON 2
157	157	hereof, with the Secretary of State and one copy with the Attorney
