73	73	WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11 -103.6a-1 of Title 70 of the
74	74	Oklahoma Statutes, all subject matter standards and revisions to the
75	75	standards adopted by the State Board of Education are subject to
76	76	legislative review.
77	77	NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF
78	78	REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 1ST SESSION OF THE 60TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
79	79	SECTION 1. The Legislature hereby disapproves in whole the
80	80	social studies subject matter standards approved by the State B oard
81	81	of Education on February 27, 2025.
82	82	SECTION 2. The Secretary of State is hereby directed to
83	83	distribute copies of this resolution to the Governor, the State
84	84	Department of Education, and the editor of “The Oklahoma Register ”.
